Easy way of finding a file in a computer

Now a days, most of us use 1 tera or 512gb hard disk. That’s why, it is becoming difficult for us to find a file I am looking for when we forgot it’s location. Then, we use windows default search engine. But, it takes a lot of time, which is very much irritating.
